Pune : Over 200 cyclists embarked on Ride to Mpower- a cyclothon organized by Mpower-the mental healthcare initiative by Aditya Birla Education Trust to raise awareness on mental health.

The journey from Pune to Mumbai was flagged off by Parveen Shaikh, Vice President-Operations, Mpower and Guinness World Record Holder, and long distance cyclist Ashish Kasodekar, and Mr Aashish Sanghvi, Trustee, Aditya Birla Education Trust.

The cyclothon is the brainchild of Mrs. Neerja Birla, Founder and Chairperson, Mpower and was started with the aim to encourage conversations on mental health and encourage the community to come together to stamp out associated stigma.

She shared her thoughts on the 5th edition of Ride to Mpower, saying, “Every pedal stroke symbolizes a step forward in our collective journey towards destigmatizing mental health. Through unity and action, we can create a world where mental well-being is prioritized and embraced by all.”
