Experts views in GHR Career Connect organized by Raisoni Group of Institutions
Pune: Engineering is an employment oriented course. After completion of the course you can do job or become an entrepreneur. Now a days engineering college getting autonomy and it will help to create capable and skilled engineers, experts from engineering field put their views in GHR Career Connect program. It was organized by GH Raisoni Group of Institutes for 12th Passed Engineering Aspirants at Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Hall, Camp Pune with theme of “You Dream We Guide”.
Dr BB Ahuja, Director of COEP, Dr OG Kakde, Director, IIIT Nagpur, Dr PM Padole, Director, VNIT, Nagpur, Dr DR Nandanwar, Joint Director, Directorate of Technical Education, Hari Ishwaran, Projects Head L & T reality, and Dr Aditya Abhyankar, Dean Faculty of Technology, Sawitribai Phule Pune University guided the students. Shreyas Raisoni, Executive Director, RGI, Ajit Tatiya, Trustee Director, Raisoni Group, Dr RD Kharadkar, Principal of GHRET, Dr KK Paliwal, Director of GHRCM and others were present on this occasion.
After HSC students and parents are in state of dual mind and find it difficult to select good engineering college. Many students and parents are unaware with the admission process and because of which many times student not able to get admission. Looking such state of mind of student and parents, Raisoni Group of Institutions provided platform to engineering aspirants to interact with expert from industry and academic. This is a maiden event promoted for Career Counseling and opportunities in Industry for engineering students by Raisoni Group. Event was witnessed by more than 800 students and parents. Raisoni Group felicitates the 30 meritorious students of 12th from various reputed colleges for their academic achievement. Shreyas Raisoni, Executive Director, RGI informs about the scholarships offered by the Raisoni Group to such meritorious students.
Dr Ahuja said, “Engineering is one of the best professional educational course which gives job oriented education. Today, the world is playing with the technology. Everything is depending on the computerization and above all we are still striving to achieve the height of development. Today industry needs experts who are engineers. He highlights on the opportunities available to students after 12th. Also, explains about the admission process in Autonomous Institute and how it is different than affiliated institute.
Dr Kakde emphasized on the fact that in order to succeed in industry it is imperative that the students must acquire skills in interdisciplinary areas irrespective of his engineering program. Such skills are offered by Autonomous institutes in curriculum and students have choice to select such courses. Dr Padole discuss about the criteria to be kept in mind while selecting proper college. He appeal parents to thoroughly visit and check past placement details and skills provided by institute to students.
Hari Ishwaran explains about the industries expectations from engineering graduates in current industry 4.0 revolution. He focuses on the skills required to meet industry 4.0 revolutions and appeal students to select institute which will provide such skills. Dr Aditya Abhyankar emphasize on the skills required by the engineers and willingness to accept the challenges to meet industry 4.0. He suggest students to go for AI based courses which will meet current challenges and appeal students to be a part of make in India by initiating their own startups.
