Pune, March 2024: Entries are invited for the Benjamin Uncle Memorial Football Tournament -Seven-A-Side Football Tournament set to commence at the Azam Campus, Campus Pune from Saturday 13 April.
The tournament is being organized by City Club under the aegis of the Poona District Football Association (PDFA). All affiliated clubs of the PDFA are eligible for the tournament which has been given the status of ‘open tournament’. The last date for entries is April 5.
The six-day tournament will be played on a league cum knock out basis with all matches to be played over 40 minutes (20 per half) with a five minute break. The tournament is scheduled to be played on weekends – Saturday and Sunday.
The winners are set to pocket Rs 1 lakh, the runners up Rs 50,000, third place Rs. 25000 and fourth place Rs 11,000 apart from various individual cash awards
The finals have been set for Sunday, 28 April.
